The Occupy Project has failed.

And it’s really simple as to why. These aren’t protests anymore. They’re usually just a bunch of people camping around city buildings. Then police get called in because technically the protesters are disturbing the peace, and the situation always seems to escalate into protesters and police being hurt, the main point being forgotten by both sides, and becoming nothing more than a 30 second story on CNN.

I can’t take this serious anymore. Sure it’s sad and even at times disgusting to see the clashes between police and protesters. But let’s be frank about this, if these protests were, as I’ve said many times before, more organized, had structure, had leadership, had goals, this would be completely different!

But as of today, on the two month anniversary of the beginning of all this, no one knows the true point of the Occupy Movement. People, whether protesters or officers, are getting hurt for no good reason. No progress has been made to whatever this is about. And this is all starting to seem like a waste. It’s really starting to get annoying when we all keep asking and still have no answer;

Dear 99%, what is your point to all of this? What are you trying to accomplish?

Anarchy doesn’t sound too bad right now for the United States…

Now, I am not talking about ‘setting every building on fire/flipping over cars/stealing plasma televisions/etc, etc, etc.’ But just get all of these idiots in power out of here. Not just politically, but in any sense where they have some sort of influence on the human population. Celebrities, media, ‘entertainers’, get them all out! Stop glorifying them as these mortal gods!

These last couple of months have been ridiculous, absurd, unbelievable! And that is a HUGE understatement when you look at the list of things. So I guess, not anarchy, but an overthrowing of powerful idiots. And to refresh your mind on how fucked up it has been lately, here is just some of what has happened these last few months alone;

• First off, Casey Anthony, who allegedly killed her two year old daughter back in 2008, (Now, I must say ‘allegedly’, sadly, because it took three years for the case to have its final sentencing, which shocked the country) was found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and/or aggravated child abuse. But simply found guilty for filing false police reports.
  
  
• Second, Troy Davis was executed on September 21st of this year. Even after seven of the nine trial witnesses recanted their testimonies. Saying that Davis was responsible for murdering an off-duty police officer outside of a Burger King, after trying to break up an argument between two pedestrians on August 18, 1989. No gun was ever found at the scene of the crime (or anywhere else, for that matter), the State of Georgia wasn’t 100% sure Davis was guilty of his crimes, and up to the very end, Davis defended his innocence.

• Third, how crazy and out of hand the Occupy Movement has gotten. Spreading to over 120 major cities all over the world! Which is amazing! People are standing up for a new change! And not treason or a takeover, but just something new that will give them opportunities for a brighter future. A.K.A. a stable economy and JOBS!! But due to the massive spread of protesters, it has also resulted into basically non-punishable police abuse towards mostly innocent protesters. Simply on the fact that they are ‘disturbing the peace’. These cops are bullies with badges! Yes, to all of you ‘officers’, we know that you have the right to protect and serve the law. But not to throw a tear canister directly at someone’s face, giving them third degree burns. Or to plan and execute to bash the tents of protesters with nightsticks in the middle of the night, while they are sleeping. Or mace the fuck out of women who aren’t even resisting arrest. You are doing nothing more than abusing the power that has been given to you to protect and serve the law. Which by default means to PROTECT AND SERVE THOSE WHO ABIDE BY THE LAW! Now, yes, those who break the law are to be punished in a proper and LEGAL way. Not beat the fuck out them and say you were defending yourself! And worse, not one officer will be charged with anything, since it is ‘too big a disturbance to go through every complaint’.

• Let’s not forget about that trash celebrity getting divorced after two months, but not before spending 17 million dollars on her wedding! Which could have paid for over 650 4-year college tuitions to ivy league schools! Or could have paid for over a million meals to starving children in Africa!
  
  Only to give a statement saying she was sorry and that she was sucked into the ‘hoopla because she is a hopeless romantic’. And to be honest and blunt, please come out and say it was for money. Please, please do us that favor. Say it was because you wanted ratings on your show. I can believe and live with that. Not that you married for love.
  
  
• And finally, to top it off, the scandal of the year. The story is still coming out, so tons of information hasn’t been confirmed.
  
  Jerry Sandusky has been accused of raping over eight boys in a fifteen year span. Sandusky was a former assistant coach at Penn State University. Sandusky has said that he told famous Penn State Head Coach, Joe Paterno, of the innocent. In which Paterno reported that he told school officials of the situation, but never went to the police with the information. Saying that it is ‘school law’ to report such incidents and that they take it from there.
  
  So this goes into a HUGE CLUSTERFUCK from here.
  On a ton of reasons.
  
  • The raping of these eight boys, who were terrified to come out and confirm the crime.
  • The cover up from the university, coaches, and anyone else involved, if true.
  • And that this wasn’t in a span of a year or two. But from 1994-2009! 15 years and nothing was done!
    
    
  So you’re telling me it takes the university over a decade to come forth with this information to law enforcement, before proper action is taken? That is already a huge stain for Penn State. And even worse than that will be if the scandal really was trying to be covered up by the university! It is disgusting that such a thing can even be considered, for what? For college football? For the university? So you don’t hurt your reputation, as a school, as a team? You’re hurting yourselves WAY MORE by not reporting this to the authorities, than by thinking you can actually handle such a situation!
  
  And now that the university has fired Paterno, people are furious and have gone bat shit crazy! Now, I understand why fans think he didn’t deserve to be fired. But hear me out, I simply understand. If fans said that polar bears were actually aliens planning on melting the polar ice caps to raise sea levels all over the world for these reasons, I would only understand you. BUT I DO NOT AGREE WITH YOU! How can you sit there and think he DOESN’T deserve to be fired?! Why? Cause he stuck with ‘school law’ on the matter? Because he basically helped cover up this scandal? The man may have not raped these boys, but he helped by not reporting this to police! Maybe he didn’t do it intentionally, but none the less, you don’t keep such information away from the police in any situation!
  
  If a possible attack on the school was reported, will that only be reported to school officials? NO! You would call the police!
  
  And what angers me the most isn’t that these people want this coach to be given his job back. But that these boys aren’t the front story anymore! Sure, they are right next to the firing of Paterno, but how sad is it that media is focusing on the firing of head coach BECAUSE of a rape scandal.

This is what is wrong with the world. We overlook what truly is important and focus on the gossip. We turn around at the tragedy, but exploit the victim and/or suspect.
