"Blount Force" to be reckoned with.

Week Eleven for the New England Patriots was another great Monday Night Football game!

What started as a rocky game for the Patriots eventually turned into another great night for New England against the Kansas City Chiefs. Being Brady’s first game against the Chiefs since his 2008 season-ending injury. Coincidentally, Cassel’s first start came due to Brady’s injury in the 2008 season-opener against the Chiefs. And tonight was Tyler Palko’s first start, against the Patriots. Due to Cassel’s season-ending injury just last week.

But that aside, the game really comes down to the following sentence;
34 unanswered points!

Even though the Patriots have started over 40 different defensive players this season, 15 of those being undrafted, the defense showed its potential! New England’s Defense is not only inexperience, but unknown to even offensive Patriot players! Yet, tonight’s game was a defensive win as much as it was a special teams win and obviously, an offensive win. A.K.A. the 'Patriot Way'. In which everyone was the reason for the win. Not individuals, but a team!

New England’s Defense had three interceptions (two of those belonging to Kyle Arrington. Making him the NFL leader in interceptions!), three sacks, stopped crucial plays, but also had major problems that still need improvement. Yet tonight, the Patriot Defense showed that week after week they are resilient, determined, and excited to constantly improve! This may be the worse ranked defense in the NFL, but the players do not let that stop them.

Now, the reason I didn’t automatically jumped into talking about the offense is simply because we all know what they did. They played like the New England Patriots! Shocker, right?! Brady was off to a late start. Wasn’t productive. Got sacked three times as well. Incomplete passes. And fumbled. But the tide of the game automatically changed when Brady threw the 52 yard touchdown pass to Gronkowski! Instantly reminding you that Tom Brady is, of course, Tom Brady! With that TD reception also becoming Gronkowski’s longest in his career. And later on making another touchdown! Surpassing Mike Ditka as the fastest Tight End to make 20 touchdowns in only 26 games. Ditka, 31 games. As well as becoming the Patriot player with the most touchdowns in only two seasons. Beating Randy Moss, Troy Brown, Benjamin Watson, and Deion Branch. And finally giving Tom Brady at least 25 touchdowns in one season for the seventh time in his career. In which Brady tied Marino for another record becoming third most in NFL history. Three records broken in one touchdown.

But let’s not forget the amazing performance by Julian Edelman! A wide receiver who seemed to have played almost every position! Blocking on defense and having a 72 yard punt-return for a touchdown! Which sums up the game, the Patriot Way is what makes this team win! Now having a two game lead for first place in the AFC East and being third in the AFC, the Patriots go to Philly next week to play the Eagles. A very tough game ahead. But with the performance shown tonight, New England is still revealing to the NFL that it will be a playoff team! And of course, aiming to be a Super Bowl team.
